NEUROSTAR TMS THERAPY
MAPS is proud to offer NeuroStar Advanced Therapy, a non-invasive treatment called Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) designed to help individuals struggling with depression and other mental health conditions.
TMS uses targeted magnetic pulses to stimulate specific areas of the brain involved in mood regulation. Unlike medications, TMS therapy is non-systemic, meaning it does not circulate throughout the body and therefore avoids many of the side effects commonly associated with medications.
Treatments are performed in-office at our 1416 Park Avenue location, typically lasting about 20 minutes, and those treated are able to return to their normal daily activities immediately afterward.
